THEME & CONVENTIONS-
We are a mature medieval roleplay environment set in the enchanted land of Tir A Slan. We ask that during your visit here you respect the theme and flow by wearing appropriate garb and removing any tech weapons on your person, no guns, no grenades, no lightsabers etc... There are free outfits fit for nobility provided at the dance hall, and almost free peasant wear provided outside Bellissima's shop, as well as many shops located throughout Tir A Slan. We welcome all species/races. You can play a dragon, a pixie, we even have merfolk, as long as it is not a techified av. ie... no "steam" dragons, no borg, no t-shirt and jeans...
If you are playing a character within the rp please provide at least a small bio to detail the nature and origin. Keep in mind that there are no "God" characters in Tir A Slan. Please read the above literature to avoid any roleplaying faux pas in Tir A Slan.
Flying- Flying is permitted in Tir A Slan. Provided your character has wings or some other visible means of flight. I f your character has wings, it should be noted in your character's bio. Not every race will have wings.
All of this means you will have to be more creative about your transportation. And at all times, please keep the roleplay above your personal desires, we are all part of a larger story here. Any interaction, even someone seeing you fly over is IC. Play with this in mind.
Children- Children Avatars are permitted but no sexual themes/interaction in public will be tolerated. We take this very seriously. Anyone found using the many "toys" or poseballs, or interacting in public chat in a sexual fashion while in our sim with a child avatar will be banned immediately. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy. There will not be a second chance. Period.
Defining "Griefer"
A Griefer in Tir A Slan is defined as anyone who refuses to adhere to the conventions and theme of the sim. Anyone who refuses to wear a hud while continuing to "rp" rude interactions and negative behavior. You want to be rude, that's fine, but be wearing your hud and be prepared for the consequences. Anyone who takes a scene to the point of combat and then removes their hud is griefing. Failure to adhere to the guidelines for roleplay and combat in Tir A Slan will result in administrative response. Count on it. We want everyone here to have a good time and contribute their role to an ever changing and evergrowing story.
CONSENT: Tir a Slan is not a pretty garden park. It is an rp sim where good AND bad things can happen. As a result, ALL ROLEPLAY MUST be based on OOC consent (out of character). No one will be forced to participate in a roleplay against their consent.
THIS ALSO INCLUDES HEROES. Yes, white knight heros are characters, but interupting the roleplay of others against their consent isn't. In either scenario, aggressor or hero, if your advances are not welcomed, then you need to back off. Also, if you receive advances you do not welcome, *politely* IM the person and let them know you are not interested.
